Dena McManis, PsyD, has over 25 years of experience working in the education and mental health field. In addition to a doctorate in Educational Psychology, Dr. McManis has master degrees in both school and forensic psychology, with advanced training in neuropsychology. Dr. McManis has worked in the school system for the past fifteen years, which gives her a unique perspective on the necessary components of an evaluation. Prior to working in schools, Dr. McManis’ experience includes behavioral therapy and case management services for children and adolescents in crisis, individual and group therapy and interventions with incarcerated youth and/or those involved with the juvenile and family courts, as well as providing services for adults and adolescents involved with community behavioral health organizations and working as a substance abuse specialist.
